Jekaterina Saveljeva began her career in Dublin, Ireland working with local newspapers. In 2012 she began doing freelance work for the New York Times. The same year she was awarded the Simon Cumbers Media Fund to work on a story in Tanzania. Jekaterina's work has also been published in the Irish Times, Metro Eireann, Folk er Folk (Norway), Vision Magazine, Photojournale among others. Finalist of PhotoPhilanthroy Student Category 2014. She is interested in the daily life of African migrants in Ireland, and Roma and Irish Traveller minority.
