Nigar Hasanova is an Azerbaijani freelance journalist covering human rights, social justice, and political developments in the South Caucasus. Her work has appeared in the EUobserver, The Moscow Times, OC Media and academic journals such as the Journal of Human Rights and Social Work. She is currently a young research fellow at the Media and Journalism Research Centre.
