Sophie Abeles is a freelance journalist based in New York. She graduated from Boston University with degrees in International Relations and Spanish and shortly after moved to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain to work as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant.
She reports on social and environmental justice issues and enjoys interviewing local artists around NYC in her spare time.
