Thomas Wendler has been the Managing Director of AWO Krankenhausbetriebsgesellschaft mbH since August 2016. The company is part of Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO), one of Germany’s largest non-profit welfare organisations. Since 2012, he has represented the AWO Federal Association on three committees of the German Hospital Federation (DKG). Previously, he held positions at hospitals and hospital operators in Reinbek, Berlin, and Magdeburg.
