Action on Poverty is a small, dynamic charity building self-reliance and enterprise in developing countries. APT works to transform the lives of the poorest and most vulnerable people in Africa and South Asia by promoting economic empowerment and social change. It focuses on promoting enterprise and self-reliance, enabling vulnerable and marginalised groups to develop and access their own livelihoods. We address the reasons for their exclusion and root causes of their poverty.
