Hamna Iqbal Baig is an investigative journalist and fact-checker with over five years of experience. She covers climate, tech, health, mis/disinformation, and human rights. She has worked for 2.5 years as a Meta third-party fact-checker for Soch Fact Check and as a producer for Soch Videos. Her writing has been featured in Dawn, Pioneers Post, Geo News, Digital Rights Monitor, and other publications. Hamna has also served in key communication roles, including Senior Communications Officer at Community World Service Asia, Communications Lead at Code for All, and Communications Impact Fellow at Salzburg Global Seminar. She holds an MA in Multimedia Journalism from the University of Kent and a Bachelor's in Media Science from SZABIST, Karachi.
